Data controller

SHINE’NESS, 47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France, is the controller of personal data processed through this site. Contact: contact@shineness.beauty. No data protection officer (DPO) has been appointed.

Data and purposes

We process your identity, email address, telephone number, delivery and billing addresses, order history and information entered in the withdrawal form. Shopify and its payment providers handle card details; SHINE’NESS never sees them.

  • Orders, payment, delivery and tracking: performance of the contract.
  • Invoices and accounting: legal obligation; retained for 10 years.
  • Customer service and withdrawal requests: performance of the contract or a legal obligation, depending on the request.

We send no newsletter and use your data for no marketing, analytics or advertising. We make no automated decisions about you.

Recipients and transfers

Shopify International Limited (Ireland) provides the online shop, the checkout page, order management and order emails; payments are processed by Shopify Payments and its providers, and, where applicable, by the provider of the payment method you choose (for example Klarna or PayPal). This processing may involve transfers to Canada (European Commission adequacy decision) and the United States under EU standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Amazon Web Services hosts the site and sends transactional emails through Amazon SES in an EU region; its US parent company and relevant transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses. OVHcloud hosts the email mailbox in France. Carriers receive the name and address needed for delivery.

Retention

Order and invoice data is retained for 10 years. Customer-service emails are retained for 3 years after the last contact. Withdrawal requests are retained for 5 years.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to processing under the GDPR’s conditions. You may also give instructions about your data after death. Email contact@shineness.beauty. You may complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL.

Cookies and technical storage

shineness.beauty sets no cookies of its own. We use no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. Shopify’s checkout page may use cookies or storage strictly necessary for payment.
